The Sorlock

The Concept

So you want to fight from afar and destroy the enemies before they can even react? You like watching you beams to illuminate the dungeons? You want enemy bosses to fear you? Well, this Sorcerer/Warlock build is for you. You will get 8 attacks per turn, very high AC, an impressive damage per round and the envy of you fellow adventurers.

Race

You will be playing an Half Elf (Drow Variant), allowing you to gain Elven Accuracy Feat at level 6. The Drow Variant provides you with Faerie Fire, giving advantage over enemies.

Elven Accuracy gives “triple advantage” allowing you to re-roll one dice on advantage attacks.

Feats:

LevelFeat
6Elven Accuracy
15War Caster
19Polearm Master OR Lucky OR Medium Armor Master

Note: even without the War Caster feat you can still keep a shield in a hand, but you cannot have a shield and a wand. When you gain the War Caster feat you are able to use both your hands for a shield and a wand.

Equipment

Untill you get the first level of Warlock you will have no proficiency with armor. So keep in mind that you might want to use the Mage Armor untill your equipment can match its 16 AC. At level 6 (Warlock level 1), you will gain proficiency with light armor, while Hexblade subclass will give you proficiency with medium armor and shields (due to Hex Warrior). At this point you will be able to wear Halfplate Armor (AC15 + DEX). You can also use the Shield Spell for a +5 bonus to AC. At level 19 you will aslo gain the Medium Armor Master Feat that increases your AC Dex modifier to +3. Overall you can get up to 31 AC for a +3 Halfplate Armor, +3 Shield, and the Shield Spell.
